Disney-Inspired Princess and the Frog Mint Smoothie

Princess and the Pea Inspired Mint Smoothie, Magic for Miles, Fun Friday

Have you seen Disney’s Princess and the Frog? Somehow we missed the boat when it first came out back in 2009 and did not see it.

I think it was because we were traveling to NYC when it came out and, apparently, living under a rock. Don’t worry, we rectified the situation quickly and soon joined the group of all who love the Princess and the Frog.

Due to a need to ease back into regular eating following a recent Disney trip (and by ease, I mean still enjoy a fair amount of chocolate! Ha!) and an upcoming trip to the south, we put together this quick smoothie inspired by the Princess and the Frog!!

And no, this smoothie is not inspired because I stuck an entire beignet in the middle of the smoothie.

Or because there is gumbo hidden underneath all the whipped cream.

No, it’s simply because the smoothie is green and refreshing. A perfect drink for enjoying after a hard day of work, much like Tianna might whip up to enjoy.

Without further ado, let’s jump (like a frog, get it? Ribbit…ha!) into enjoying this smoothie!

1. Step One

Gather up all your ingredients! If you don’t have frozen bananas on hand, but sure to use regular bananas and throw some ice into the mix. This helps create the creamy smoothie taste we all know and love.

2. Step Two

Throw all your ingredients into the blender and pour in enough almond milk to cover up the ingredients. Next thing: blend away!

This smoothie is flexible, but it does have a very strong chocolate mint banana taste if you make it according to these directions.

Feel free to play around with the ratios until you have a smoothie you enjoy!

3. Step Three

Your smoothie is ready to enjoy as it stands!

If you’re feeling creative and festive, go ahead and give your smoothie a healthy topping of whipped cream. Then throw a few extra chocolate chips on top.

There ya go! A Disney-inspired, Princess and the Frog mint smoothie to provide you with a yummy and (mostly) healthy pick-me up in the morning, afternoon or night!

Enjoy!
